The Financial Assistance Network exists to improve access to financial resources in our community to meet basic human needs.
The Financial Assistance Network will fulfill its mission by:
Increasing access to and maximizing impact of available financial resources
Fostering a community of collaborative community agencies
Maintaining an updated database of services offered by member agencies
Advocating for clients’ rights to affordable and sustainable housing
Encouraging the development of new community programs necessary to address unmet basic human needs
Bring together a network of value-aligned community agencies committed to improving access to financial resources to those in need in our community.
Create and maintain a database of services offered by member agencies including an accurate description of services offered, eligibility requirements, terms of service, required documentation, hours of operation, application information, and referral processes.
Encourage inter-agency collaboration to meet the needs of specific, shared clients.
Create and maintain a shared “point-of-entry” referral network, of which all participating organizations will be a part.
Continually build the network by inviting new organizations to participate in the Financial Assistance Network.
Encouraging the creation of new programs and services designed to fill gaps in the community services already provided within the network.
